Boucherie Sign

This sign was created for the restaurant out of reclaimed wood provided by the owner. Old growth pine pulled out of a New Orleans house was repurposed. The sign is about 5'x2.5' and the boards were aligned with a couple hundred dowels to get the boards in line without losing any thickness. I created a router template for "Boucherie" and used that to carve in the letters on both sides. Finished with a spar urethane.
